Robot Cache reserves the right to change this Robot Cache Resale Policy at any time with 90 days written notice to you.
Provided a Robot Cache game or other Content is eligible, you may list such Content for resale from your game library (your “Stash”) after you purchase the license to a digital game and in accordance with any relevant holding period (see below). Once Content is listed for resale, it will be placed in Robot Cache’s general sales queue and made available for purchase by other Robot Cache Account Users. While in the sales queue, your game or other Content will continue to be available to use by you until it has been sold, after which time it will no longer be available to you.
Resale Eligibility
In addition to a mandatory 7-day hold period following your purchase of the license to a digital game or other Content (to verify the transaction and account status), your game or other Content may also subject to a publisher lockout period of up to 90 days after the Content first becomes available on the Robot Cache Store. Certain games and Content may not be eligible for resale at any time, including, but not limited to restricted games, DLCs, Add-Ons, etc. Because there is no inherent difference between an original sale of a game or other Content and its resale, games in the sales queue will alternate between original games and resold games in accordance with Robot Cache’s then-current queue policy. When you initially purchase the license to a digital game or other Content, the resale terms will be available to you on the purchase screen for your review.
Keep in mind that certain games and Content that are initially eligible may subsequently lose their eligibility due to various reasons, including, but not limited to, licensing or publishing rights termination. In these cases, the “List” button under the game or Content in the Store will be disabled, but the game or Content will still be playable from your Stash.
Resale Commissions
Once the license to a digital game has been successfully resold, you will be eligible to receive 25% of the price of the resold game (the “Resale Commission”). Please note that the Resale Commission is subject to change upon Robot Cache’s notification to you at least 90 days in advance. The Resale Commission can either be credited: 1) to the credit or debit card that was originally used to purchase the game, up to a maximum of the original purchase amount less any applicable fees; or 2) as IRON in your RC Wallet with no additional fees. If the original purchase was split between a credit card and IRON, the Resale Commission will be credited back between the credit or debit card and IRON (unless the Resale Commission is less than USD 2.00, in which case it will be credited back in IRON only). In the event the original credit card is no longer valid, or if the resold game was a gift from another Robot Cache account user, the entire Resale Commission will be credited as IRON in your RC Wallet.
Resale Price
The resale price of the license to a digital game or Content will be the same as the then-current listed price of the game or Content on the Robot Cache Store. If the listed price of a game or Content changes while it is in the sales queue, the resale price will change accordingly. You can elect, however, to not allow your game in the sales queue to be sold during a temporary or “flash” sale by checking the appropriate option when listing it for sale.
